Vanessa left great tips already about hand placement and working to extend bottom leg first! Adding on to that yes, it will be a significant side body stretch. I find I'm able to achieve the best balance when I have to really reach my finger tips to the floor (ie my outside body is stretched to the max lol). I recommend including some side bending and lat stretching in warm ups before this move to help with that flexibility. Getting closer Susan! Keep us posted! :))

Hi Sharon! Best thing to do is film a video of your attempt (or if you already have one, even better) and post your video to the community feed (the same place you posted the gym question). That way I can see what's going on and give you feedback. The bottom foothold is the same as a cupid. Are you familiar with cupid? The foot is at a slight angle so that we can wrap our arch around the pole. Post a video if you can 🙏
