Walking your hands on the floor is a great place to start! But when you walk your hands on the floor and get them to the pole, try to FEEL the muscles helping you once you get to the position… gently engage your abs, gently squeeze the glutes, try to gently press into the pole to feel a shoulder stretch and keep practicing other off the pole upper back and backend flexibility and it will improve over time babe!!

Constantina oh yay I'm glad you've alreaady done it and found it helpful! If you can fit that conditioning exercise into your training at least 3 times/ week and be consistent with it, I know you'll feel the progress in your inverts! And feel free to use this community feed as an "accountability partner" too. You can share a little clip of your weekly invert practice and it might even inspire others to prioritize it too!!

Excited to see it!!

Constantina welcome to pole!! this is a very good start! Experimenting with the hand position is a good tip from Vanessa! I also want you to implement the conditioning drill that I talk about around 2 minutes of this video (https://polewithsteph.com/programs/img-0585-84671-87c17f although the entire video I think would be beneficial for you as well)! The drill is specifically aimed at building the muscles in the back to open the chest and allow for a higher hook in the knee. Really great work though!! Keep us posted!

Vanessa excellent tip! Thanks so much for chiming in!!
