Continuing the journey of learning how to work with different seasons of life and training!! It's always a good reminder that our training doesn't exist in a vacuum. We have to always take into account all the other "stressors" (good and bad) that are currently in our environment. I'm trying hard to make sure I'm training in a way that supports my mind and also supports my health. Training is an outlet for me and in times of high stress, my first thought is to train, train, train... BUT sometimes the body might need a deload week or a true rest day. It's always a learning process for all of us.. finding that ultimate balance AND knowing that the schedule that feels balanced today might not be the same schedule that feels balanced in 3 months!!Β

Hii babe! Oof this one is tough to flatten out because this shape forces you into an overly square split (which we know typically means... less "splitty").. but you can try extending the left leg back as far as possible (squeeze the glutes to help you achieve as much hip extension as possible). Not sure if this will work.. can you arch your back at all in this or will you lose the hold?
