Hello!
I have a rather solid shouldermount (from the ground, I do not have it in aerial) and I master my shoulderdismount. However, I would like to be able to integrate a nice shoulderdismount in my combos, and so hold a nice shoulder position, with a game of legs, before putting my feet on the ground. This is not the case currently: I make my shoulderdismount but I put my feet directly on the ground because my buttocks go down too fast.

In the photo, an example of a shoulder pose that I would like to hold while descending. I can do it from the ground, but not after a shoulderdismount.

Do you have any tips?

1. I don’t know if I’m pushing enough in my bottom arm πŸ˜…. I don’t feel any discomfort with it, but it’s my weakest arm (since it comes off on the Janeiro, I keep my arm strong for the armpit). I am very comfortable in the classic Brass Monkey for example, but I can’t do this trick (in France it is called the Brass Hold). Does that mean my bottom arm is not strong enough to do the Brass Monkey?Hannah
