😍😍😍 this is gorgeous! I too was going to mention your ending - love that addition! One of the things I try to make sure to do with choreo is make it so that you can go at whatever tempo feels good for you!!

jamimah Sorry for my delayed response and for the confusion. I think I meant to say that you want to think about the pole dividing your back so that your upper body is on one side and hips/booty on the other side. (The pole will sit diagonally across your back). Hope that helps!

Hey! The only way I have ever been able to get into this move is aerially! I have never been able to get it from the ground. That being said, I thin that the trick for you might be to focus on getting your booty to the other side of the pole so that the pole goes diagonally across your back. This should allow you to find more grip and less slide! I will load a video of myself - you can see I sort of sweep my hips across the pole. Hope this helps!

Hopefully these alternatives / other angles help! Again the key for me is thinking about opening my chest, aiming for my back to get to the pole and keeping my hips forward (not collapsing at the hips towards a pike shape - more like staying as a ‘banana’). Push up with the lower hand!

Something also to think about is opening up your chest and pushing off the pole with your lower hand (when/as you lower the top leg).

I AM SO EXCITED TO MEET YOU ALL!!  This is the best birthday present ever 🥰.  I'm hard at work on more tutorials for you all too!

Hiiii! I’m the madwoman who loves this move :). I always exit down rather than back up the pole. Sounds like I will see you in Key West soon and we can play!
