Coach Tiana I figured out if I do these on the turf the back of my foot can tolerate it! I can also tell I have gotten stronger so have to rely less on the back leg
Susan Papp Mlodzienski for youโฆ Other thing with Marta Split. There is a lot of upper back and neck involved in the setup too. Try looking up to help keep your chest away from the pole.. even when you go for the leg grab part. If we let the chest sink.. itโs really hard to complete the move.

I don't have time to go to the gym unfortunately, but have quite a lot of equipment at home (bar, modifiable dumbbells, straps, etc).
My main goal is strengthening the upper body, mainly shoulders, lats and back.
