Hi I'm new to pole so first time posting here 😊 Although I am trying hard to pull the shoulders back in the invert I feel my chest is not yet as open and my hips not as high up to allow me to hook the knee easily to the pole. Is it just a matter of strength or am I missing some cues?

Weekly Challenge - Let's chat inverting
I'm mad sore from Coach Tiana 's workout, this was a little harder, because my glutes are still on 🔥. But here's me trying the inverts. I love the static cue to keep both legs to the pole, but I'm struggling with the spin. I'm trying to do pencil to leg hang, and it's HARD and not so smooth! I am gonna add this to my pole warm ups!!
Speaking of inverts!! I wanted to share with you all my very first invert about 9 1/2 years ago!! My pole mom said I wasn’t ready (she was right) but I was determined so I bought my own pole and tried (it was sketchy 🤣) but I was so freakin happy about it! 😂😅💪🏼❤️ Inverts are hard and take manyyy years to develop. Take this weekly challenge and make it an “every time I do an invert” challenge bc it’s what you do consistently that’ll have the most impact on your practice!! ❤️
