Susan Papp Mlodzienski yes I do notice it sliding quite a bit before you regrip for the split.. do you know if your trap slips like that in a regular shoulder mount hold?

Hii Susan! Ideally the hand that re-grips goes right below the top hand. It looks like there is quite a bit of space between your hands. Did you have any attempts where you were able to get the hands a little closer together? And then one more thing.. did you happen to practice it from the floor (that's a good way to get a sense of hand placement). Let me know! xoxo

jamimah okay that’s great! So we can tackle this from the technique side. We want to lengthen the body upwards, while moving the butt to the other side of the pole before dropping the leg and bringing it to the shelf.
