Hey! Please ignore my exorcist crawl down the wall, but any advice on getting my arms straight? Over the years my back has gotten more flexible, but have always been stuck here with the arms. Is this just a strength thing? What tutorials of yours would be good for this? Thank you!

Hii Susan! So close with brass monkey press!! A couple things:

-start as high up as you can (it already looks like you're doing this, but just making sure.. stand up as highhh as you can on those right tippy toes and use all your active flexibility to get the left leg as high as possible when putting it on your shelf

-it's common for the right arm to bend a little in the beginning but then fight like hell to push it straight!!

-try to get the top of the right foot to the pole as soon as possible to help keep your hips close to the pole (not shown in this video bc I was going somewhere slightly different, but it'll help you!)

-crunch the left obliques and squeeze that left arm INTO the pole as much as you can! (Both of these tips are aimed to keep you hips close to the pole)

Hopefully those help!

Excited to see you nail this one!!

Has anyone been able to do this transition? I'm able to do Cupid to inside leg hang transition with my hands on the pole but grabbing the foot it feels impossible. The second I try to pull my body to the other side of the pole my knee pit slips even though I'm squeezing for dear life to the point my tendons in the back of my knee are screaming and my calf is cramping. It feels like the same feeling I get when trying to do star gazer which is my second most hated move, though this move might actually be in the running to beat star gazer since it almost broke my neck. Anyways plz help Stephanie Tallant

Hi students!! One of our amazing subscribers, Sara Nicholas, requested to see a demo of an aerial reiko mount! This happened to be included in a combo I taught to pole kat yesterday during our monthly zoom session 🤩 So two things: 1. Sara, I hope this visual helps you!! And 2. Katie did sooo amazing with this combo and I hope it inspires some of you to try this hr whole thing OR pieces:
-Reiko Mount
-Cupid variation
-Genie
-Thread to butterfly (thread through for this week’s challenge 🥳)
-Bunny split
-Broken dragon

Xoxo
Happy Tuesday friends

Hiii students! Friendly reminder to those that follow the gym program- the 2 week systemic portion starts next week (February 17th). It's available NOW to view in the Gym Program Spreadsheet. If you have questions, comment below pretty please. And as a friendly reminder on the "WHY" behind the 2 week systemic portion between our 12 week cycles:

"We want to make sure that we’re not limited by “being out of breath” during our normal hypertrophy cycles (and for you guys in some of longer pole combos)- so we do these weeks of systemic training (think out of breath training lols) so we are conditioned properly to do all the other things we want to do" - Coach Tiana 💪

NEW cycle begins March 3rd!!
