I’m so happy you shared this here!! We all have different strengths and preferences hehe 🥰 you’re inverted combo looks gorg and I’m proud of you for working through the upright one 👏🏼👏🏼

jamimah Of course! It’s mainly the quad. To help you with this engagement, I want you to sit down on the floor in a pike position… try to push your knee pits downwards into the floor.. one day, you’ll be able to push down and straighten your legs so much in this position that your heels will lift off the floor. Does that make sense? You can also do that and let me know if you feel the engagement in the quad.

I was going to say a jallegra variation as well 😍 if it’s jallegra, the bottom arm would be elbow. I like the way you have it too, but you might need to drop your head back and arch a little through the back to help with balance. Also extending through the knees would show off your pretty lines. I want to try this when I’m back in the studio tomorrow 😍

Yayyyy I’m always excited when my students are excited 😂🥰 Hope it’s a great week for you Corrie! And so happy you already let me know that you love the new warm up! YAY!

The lift is very challenging :) Personally, it took me about 6 months to achieve it. I know we are all different, so you might be able to do it sooner OR it may take you a bit longer, but I just want you to know that you're not alone and it's not something we "should" be able to do right away :)) Just takes time and consistency to build the strength. I recommend using the hands A LITTLE, not worrying about how high you lift... lift a tinyyy bit with control with the help of the hands and slowlyyy lower (or maybe you dont lift at all, but simply push your legs down as if you wanted to lift). Over time, you'll be able to lift a little higher, a little higher, etc Morgane Crucy
