Hii Susan! Ideally the hand that re-grips goes right below the top hand. It looks like there is quite a bit of space between your hands. Did you have any attempts where you were able to get the hands a little closer together? And then one more thing.. did you happen to practice it from the floor (that's a good way to get a sense of hand placement). Let me know! xoxo

jamimah okay thatā€™s great! So we can tackle this from the technique side. We want to lengthen the body upwards, while moving the butt to the other side of the pole before dropping the leg and bringing it to the shelf. Hiii babe! This will look different person to person and is also level dependent (ie someone thatā€™s been doing it longer will most likely be able to handle more pole in general), but I donā€™t see anything wrong with it as long as your body feels up for it.

Personally, I pole back to back days and also did when I was learning as well!
