Good to know, my exit down actually didn't look as sloppy as it felt watching it back. And yayyyyy I'm so excited to be coming. I'm just gonna sit there recording y'all like:

Okay first, I'm so excited for this!!!! Second, my Janeiro is at like 30% success rate at this point which is why I hadn't tried it in months bc it was on the "tabled moves" list. This was a Christmas miracle. Third YOU taught me how to Janeiro, so I know you definitely can Janeiro and if anyone is sitting on the sidelines it's me, the toddler (I might be a preschooler now). Four it's physically impossible but I'll await the video πŸ˜‚

Stephanie Tallant Janeiro isn't my favorite but it was someone's favorite and I can only do moves that require minimal points of contacts in 9 degrees πŸ˜‚. I can tell my back flexibility and strength has gotten sooooo much better because this felt way easier than the last time I tried a few months ago. However how tf does one get their leg back on the pole after the Janeiro? I finally have the second arm grabbing behind and I know I was spinning like a tornado but the leg seems physically impossible to get back up there for a clean exit 🧐

Also yes I was supposed to be cooling down in class but I had the pole zoomies and wanted to know if I could still janeiro after months of not working on it πŸ™ƒπŸ™ˆ

Hard to choose but I feel like capezio is my signature move. I say capezio on spin pole and dragontail on static pole

Fake newssss. Your favorite move is now a Jade bc you're a splits person!!! But also this triggered me. The only thing worse than a Superman is a stargazer to Superman drop

When I read this I literally read it in Steph's voice too πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚the number of times and body parts I've been told to squeeze. The most recent one I think was to squeeze my cheek into the pole πŸ˜‚πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜

Yes it's hip flexors, but more than that it's ACTIVE flexibility. It's one thing to be able to pull your leg into a position using your arms or the pole, but to be able to extend your back leg on its own and maintain the position requires active flexibility and strength
