I intermenttly fast . I have learned for women at my age , protien before a workout is important , so I have protein powder in coffee before morning workouts. I also meal prep similar to what Stephanie recommends.
For my weight control I cut out all grains in my regular diet ( rice , pasta , oats, white potatoes, etc) my daily meals are a salad with nuts, chicken , egg, plain Greek yougurt with berries , a coffee/ protein shake & dinner is chicken or fish with salad & additional veggies.
Eating this way is the only way I can control post menopausal weight.
