Your Weekly Challenge(s):

New Year! New Things! 🎉🎉🎉 This next challenge will be all about Low Flow choreographies, because flowing around the base of the pole is an important piece in making all of us well rounded pole dancers! You'll see two videos down below:

The 1st: Join our newest coach, Hannah, for a fun and fluid low-flow pole tutorial! Perfect for all levels, this class focuses on smooth, grounded transitions and creative movements around the base of the pole. Don’t forget to bring your long pants, knee pads, and socks for extra comfort and support. Let’s slide, glide, and flow together! Go to Hannah's website to learn more about her and her background! We are so lucky to have her a part of this community! https://www.flexappealdance.com/about-hannah. I've also included her bio down below. Please fee free to connect with her on Instagram too at https://www.instagram.com/theaerisflowers/.

The 2nd: Join meee, Coach Steph, in a low flow choreography to one of my favorite songs, "Shortline". You can see a preview of the choreo below as well! You'll notice that we will be using our knee pits in this one so it's recommended to wear regular pole shorts :))

We both hope you enjoy these tutorials and this challenge!

Remember to post a screenshot from one of these choreographies on the Challenge Post in the Community Feed & even more, you can share a video with us on the Community Feed as well.

Requirements:

  • Click "Join"

  • Comment on this post with a picture (screenshot is fine) of you doing the choreography

    • REMINDER: photos can be uploaded via your app or via the website, polewithsteph.com. Videos can only be posted via the App on your phone or iPad (not via a web browser).

  • Share a picture or a video on Instagram and tag @stephanietallant_pole @theaerisflowers and #thebestpoleapp

Each month, there will be one randomly selected winner chosen amongst all members who complete at least one of the two week challenges during the month!

Vanessa has given you really solid advice and tips here Jamimah! I second all of this. And everyone’s back flexibility and strength progresses differently. It might take several weeks or several months. As long as you’re working it consistently (3-4 times/ week, week after week), you’ll continue getting closer! 💪🏼💪🏼

Susan Papp Mlodzienski - experiment coming out the same way that you went in. This is a slow motion video that you can watch.. just like you changed to thr position of your chest to face the ground as you went into the move, try using your abs to help get the chest facing back towards the ceiling. Let me know if this makes sense, and update me when you try again! ❤️

Hi beautiful! Looks like I missed this message, apologies! Are you still having issues with this one? If so, post a video in the community feed or send it to me on Instagram, and I’ll be happy to take a look!
