Hiii Susan! yes, I recall this shape being reallyyy challenging in that exact same aspect.. I just rewatched the dictionary video and you'll see even on my 2nd side, I don't make it very far, because my left shoulder is my "weaker" shoulder and I just couldn't hold it... BUT a couple pointers will definitely help..1. Try to stay as high up on the pole for as long as possible.. meaning you should have to really reachhhh to get your fingertips to the floor. Once your hand is placed on the floor, we want a "handstand style" PUSH through that arm and shoulder... fingertips gripping floor, extension through elbow, shoulder up to ear! (attaching a screenshot so you can see the reach!)2. you'll also notice in the dictionary video, that I replace my hand like 10 times lol trying to get my fingertips at least in line with the pole if not a little past (this is where the shoulder flexibility will come into play, so a good upper back warm up is very helpful for this move).
