A pole drill for those working on the Crescent that I filmed recently: https://youtu.be/IDylIs-MeX0

Turn on Closed Captions as my headphones were not connected... it happens 🙃

Want to improve your flexibility for this move? I would highly recommend trying to incorporate shoulder and back flexibility into your routine at least 2 times/ week and if I had to pick one video to follow along with, it would be this 20 minute flying cobra tutorial: https://polewithsteph.com/programs/flyingcobraforpoledancers

With last week’s theme of pretty spinning invert technique, I wanted to share the combo my in person student, Joyce, has been working on (pretty spinning invert, jade, Allegra, Allegra split)!
This Allegra is such a huge win for Joyce so I wanted to celebrate this with the community too! Joyce’s back and shoulder flexibility has come so far with consistent flexibility training!
If you’re working on Allegra or jade or the flexibility for them OR the pretty spinning invert, there are tutorials for all of these here in the app!!
Congratulations Joyce on this huge accomplishment!! 🎉🎉🎉

Vanessa asked me about a Floor K Tutorial. I do have one on Youtube! I demonstrate this move on both sides first and then I talk through the setup and entry about halfway through the video! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsAK0hg0rg8&t=20s

Revisted some of my favorite bird of paradise drills this morning! There is ALOT of content on this app to help you start training the flexibility and strength for this move AND to help you achieve this move on the pole. Go to “catalog” and simply put “bird of paradise” in the search bar! And remember to do as much as you can on your “2nd awesome side”! 😉 It’s important to keep your body as balanced as possible when training these extremely difficult moves! https://polewithsteph.com/catalog/search?search=Bird+of+paradise
